Martin is a carpenter and rice farmer from Western Kenya. He works in Nairobi making furniture. "It is important for me to concentrate fully when I am working. When I am finished I am relieved. It is as if something between me and the customer has been removed. Then I am happy.  I have something and the customer has something. I think about them asking me to do other work for them."
